Building a design system is about creating a structured framework that ensures consistency, efficiency, and scalability across digital products. It serves as a single source of truth, aligning design and development teams with standardized guidelines, reusable components, and cohesive visual language.
Creating a cohesive design system from the ground up is a challenge, but developing two parallel systems for brands under the same company requires strategic thinking and adaptability.
My role in this project was to establish a unified yet distinct visual and functional identity for both brands, ensuring consistency while maintaining their individual personalities.
I started with in-depth research to understand each brand’s unique attributes, audience, and market positioning. By defining core design principles, typography, color palettes, and component libraries, I ensured scalability and coherence across all digital touchpoints.

A key focus was achieving efficiency and flexibility. I implemented a modular approach, creating reusable UI components adaptable for both brands while allowing customization where needed. Collaboration with developers was integral to ensuring seamless implementation across platforms.
